Feedback on our Film Opening
We decided to get feedback on our film opening for what we can improve next time we do course work. we told the respondents what words they needed to know such as enigma and also told them we didn't want them to be bias towards us but to be truthful with what they thought about the opening so we could learn and improve more. This helped us to highlight what we could improve and changes needed within our work. We told the respondents what words they needed to know such as enigma and also told them we didn't want them to be bias towards us but to be truthful with what they thought about the opening so we could learn and improve more. Doing this helped them to show us an understanding of the feedback to which we would get from our target audience and how they felt about our film opening and ideas for 'Educating Katie'.
Educating Katie Storyboards
First Ideas-
This was the first set initial ideas of shots that would be in our opening.
We didn't use a storyboard to start with as we didn't have a set idea on the order of shots so we put down some ideas on paper and then figured out the order. Then, when planning in more depth we would add different ideas for different shots.
MAIN STORYBOARD
Here is the storyboard for our opening. This gives the shots we plan to do and the order we want them to appear in. We have tried to make this detailed, so it will make our filming much quicker and easier. We made a storyboard of what shots we wanted because when it came to filming, we was more organise and knew what shots we had to film next and how long they was meant to last.
After knowing that our first ideas of shots wasn't long enough we came up with more ideas for shots that could make our opening longer. We filmed all these shots them uploaded them to Premiere and then edited with the shots that flowed best with our opening.

Research into Foley Sounds
Foley effects are sound effects added to the film during post production. They include sounds such as footsteps, clothes rustling, doors opening and slamming, punches hitting, glass breaking ect.
This clip helped explain the importance of Foley sounds and why the industry use them and what they use to try and recreate the sounds.
